gstinvoicemaker.in is a free GST bill maker operated by Retail Apps (the publisher of BillingFast). This page describes exactly what data this site handles. The short version: we don't want your data, and we've built the tool so we don't have it.
Bills you create in the browser
Everything you type into the bill maker — business name, customer name, GSTIN, items, amounts — is processed entirely in your browser. It is never uploaded to our servers, never stored by us, and never shared. Printing and saving to PDF happen through your browser's own print function. Your bill counter and theme preference are kept in your browser's local storage on your device only; clearing your browser data removes them.
Bills created via the API or by AI agents
When a bill is created through POST /api/bill or the MCP endpoint
(/mcp), the bill data is processed in memory to compute totals and
generate a prefill link, then discarded. The prefill link itself encodes the bill data in the URL —
it exists only in the response we return and in wherever you or your AI assistant choose to keep it.
We do not store bills, and there are no accounts or API keys.
Ratings
If you rate the tool, we store the star value. To prevent duplicate votes we store a one-way hash derived from your IP address and the date — the IP address itself is not stored and cannot be recovered from the hash.
Server logs
Like virtually every website, our web server (nginx) keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) for security and troubleshooting. These are routinely rotated and are not used for profiling or shared with third parties.
Cookies & tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts — the page loads fonts from Google's servers, which means your browser makes a request to Google (subject to Google's privacy policy).
- billingfast.com — links on this site lead to BillingFast, which has its own privacy policy.
Children
The site is a general-audience business tool and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
